As the 2024-2025 Spring semester kicks off, the Program for Research on Inequality at Princeton is proud to announce two new members of its faculty.

Joining us from MIT, Professor Simon Jäger is affiliated with both the Economics Department (and the Industrial Relations Section) and Princeton’s School for Public and International Affairs (Princeton SPIA). Jäger is an economist who studies labor markets and inequality.

Pauline Carry, a labor economist with a special interest in how employment contracts are determined and the role of labor market institutions, has joined the department as an Assistant Professor of Economics. Carry earned her Ph.D. in Economics from Institut Polytechnique de Paris in 2023 and recently completed a postdoc with the Economics Department.
